On Saturday, June 1, visit a curated selection of the city's best vintage stores offering mid-century finds. This year's Shop Hop will include Funky Finds Vintage & Retro, AOK Tag Sales, Atomic Garage, Divine Times, Huckleberry Home, Raccoon Forks Trading Co., The Dust Collective, and Barn Owl Vintage.

 

The one-day-only Mid-Mod Market is located at the Argonne building downtown, next to Funky Finds. Featured vendors include Doug Hutch, Mod Spot, Fusion Digs, Unforgettable, Rewind Vtg, Birdie & Cricket, Nos Books, Knot Your Sister's Vintage, and more! HOME TOUR 

Sunday, June 2: Our annual home tour showcases four stunning examples of mid-century architecture and interior design in Des Moines. Not only do the tours provide excellent architectural examples of the era, but they also exhibit how to bring mid-century styles to homes of every decade. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Iowa Architectural Foundation. Tickets are required to attend the home tour and will be available Sunday, April 28, at 9:00 AM! Tickets are limited and sell out fast.

COCKTAILS 

After the home tour on Sunday, join other mid-mod enthusiasts at The Bartender's Handshake. Dave creates two signature cocktails exclusively for the event. Included with your home tour ticket is a free drink ticket. This portion of the event is open to everyone 21+ from 2pm to midnight.
